About Us

P.H.D FUNdamentals was set up to provide trampoline and Fun4Baby classes to the local community in 2011. Today we offer trampoline for children 5 years plus and gymnastics classes for children from 3 years old after a successful funding bid from the National Lottery allowing us to purchase equipment to offer a full gymnastics experience of beam, vault, floor and bars. Our sessions provide opportunities to display skills in our annual Christmas Display, Club Championships and complete British Gymnastics Awards.

We aim to create a training environment that teaches children the value of effort and learning, self-discipline and adopt the correct mentality to adapt to meet new challenges and work with others. Skills vital for successful people in life. 

The club is affiliated to our National Governing Body; British Gymnastics and Scottish Gymnastics. We have successfully achieved British Gymnastics GymMark and Live Borders Accreditation where you can find our certificate in Peebles High School Sports facility. We are currently working towards Volunteer Centre Borders Volunteer Friendly Award and hope to hear back soon. 

Training sessions run in line with the school terms taking summer and Christmas holidays. Training dates are on our calendar. All classes are one hour each with the option to train for more hours if there are spaces available within classes. Our main training sessions take place at the Gytes Leisure Centre, Peebles with our satellite classes held in the Queens Leisure Centre, Galashiels.
